NAZARENE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL “And the gospel must first be preached to all nations” --Mark 13:10 BANDAGE ROLLING - January 10, 2012, - 1:00 to 4: p.m. Let’s start the new year off right by again rolling bandages for our Nazarene hospital in Papua New Guinea. If you have any new or used colored, figured, or white sheets that you no longer want to use, please leave them in the office for our bandage rolling event. This is one of the times that Missions and Young at Heart partner for a special time of accomplishment and fellowship. Last year we sent 114 bandage rolls to that destination, where they sterilize and use the strips for bandages. This isn’t just a women’s event - men are needed to man the rolling machines - free instructions if you haven’t done it before! If you care to bring some snacks, anything edible is appreciated. Also, you can bring a pair of scissors and white thread and a needle if available. A willing heart and a warm smile are also welcome! SAFEHOUSE CHRISTMAS - I want to thank each of you who participated in giving Christmas gifts to our Mitchell Area Safehouse children last month. Twenty-seven kids now have special memories of a Christmas when someone they don’t even know cared enough about them to give them a gift. I know very little about who gave what, but I do know that some sacrificed mightily to give and some gave to more than one child. Thanks again and may God richly bless you for your generosity!!

They are BRIAN and JILL TIBBS, now serving in Peru with their three children - Jana (6), Andrew (3), and baby Megan (9 months). This wonderful young family has been on the mission field since 2005. What is LINKS? - Loving Interested Nazarenes Loving and Sharing. The Tibbs have been chosen to partner with this church and district for two years as we support them with cards, letters, and gifts, and most of all, our prayers for their safety and effectiveness in spreading the gospel.
